Special Ministry Teams

All Special Ministry Teams are formed, as needed, by action of the Ministry Council or Elder Ministry through the Ministry Council. These teams may exist for as long as the Ministry Council and the team perceives a need and purpose for the team.

Currently there are 5 Special Ministry Teams:

• American Baptist Women (under the Missions Core Ministry)
• Children's Ministry (under the Teaching and Christian Education Core Ministry)
• Information Technology (under the Buildings and Grounds Core Ministry)
• Safety and Security (under the Elders)
• Small Groups (under the Teaching and Christian Education Core Ministry)
